The park is open to ATVs, UTVs, SxS, dirt bikes, Jeeps, stock trucks, mud trucks, or rock rigs, 365 days a year from daylight 'til dark.

Safety Rules & Guidelines

  1. Waiver Requirement: All guests, including drivers, passengers, and spectators, must sign a Release and Waiver of Liability Form online or at the gate to access the property.

  2. Driving Requirements: Operators of Off-Road Vehicles must hold a valid driver’s license. Minors under 18 can drive if supervised by a parent or guardian, who must also sign the liability waiver.

  3. Safety Gear: Seat belts are mandatory in SUVs and UTVs. Helmets are recommended and comply with NC Laws. Following manufacturer and ATV Safety Institute recommendations for safety gear is strongly advised.

  4. Riding Guidelines: Guests ride at their own risk. The Park is not responsible for vehicle recovery in case of breakdowns. Refunds or rain checks for weather or equipment failure are not provided. 

  5. Alcohol Policy: Alcohol and impairing substances are prohibited in the park.

  6. Prohibited Items: Hunting, illegally carried firearms, fireworks, and explosives are not permitted. No fires outside of designated fire pits in camping area.

  7. Environmental Responsibility: Guests are encouraged to keep the park clean, stay on established trails, and avoid ecological damage.

  8. Speed Regulations: A 5 mph speed limit is enforced in the parking lot. Reckless driving is not permitted. 

  9. Trail Hours: Off-Road Vehicles are allowed from sunrise until sunset. 

  10. To maintain the quality and appearance of our entrance and parking area, we kindly request that guests refrain from tire spinning, performing donuts, or engaging in any activity that may damage the surface.

 

These guidelines are essential for ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests at Lake Houser Adventures Off-Road Park. Please be aware that failure to adhere to this guideline may result in being asked to leave the premises.

 Release of Liability Agreement 

REQUIRED for ALL Adults and Minors

For the safety and assurance of all our guests, Lake Houser Adventures Off-Road Park requires every visitor to sign a mandatory Release of Liability Agreement before participating in any park activities. This agreement is crucial to ensure that all guests acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with off-road activities. By signing, visitors agree to release the park from liability for any injuries or damages incurred during their visit. We prioritize your safety and experience, and this agreement helps us maintain a secure and enjoyable environment for everyone. Please be prepared to review and sign this document online or upon arrival to ensure a smooth start to your adventure.
